Dinosaur Safari at Sydney Zoo

On now until 27 April, Sydney Zoo is launching a new Dinosaur Safari adventure designed especially for kids. A jam-packed day of activities is on the agenda as kids stomp along dinosaur footprints, discover fun facts, and dive into the adventure with The Lost Kingdom Trail - a dino-themed quest that turns the zoo into a prehistoric playground.

The Lost Kingdom Trail

The Lost Kingdom Trail turns a visit to the zoo into an interactive treasure hunt. Grab a Dinosaur Safari map and follow the dinosaur trail across the park in search of mighty dinosaurs hiding along the path. Kids will discover 25 life-sized dinosaur installations and more than six interactive activity points, where they can complete small challenges and learn surprising facts about how modern animals share traits with these ancient creatures.

Complete the trail, and you'll be rewarded with a Kinder Treat prize at the end — the sweetest way to celebrate your dino discovery!

Families can explore the trail at their own pace while still enjoying the rest of the zoo – there are no session times, no queues and no fixed schedule.

Dino Baby Meet & Greet

Keep your eyes peeled as you explore - you might bump into an adorable roaming baby dinosaur! These playful prehistoric visitors will be popping up around the zoo, making for some unforgettable photo moments.
