Join The LET LOVE SHINE Celebrations At Westfield Bondi Junction

Get ready to celebrate Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride in style with Westfield Bondi Junction's 'LET LOVE SHINE' event! Families are invited to come together and enjoy a program of exciting events and activations designed to celebrate diversity and unity through love.

From now until 5 March, customers can visit Westfield Bondi Junction to join in the festivities and be a part of something truly special. The highlight of the event is a special lip sync battle between Drag Queen royalty and RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under stars, Coco Jumbo and Minnie Cooper. And, for the first time ever, you'll have the chance to meet these fabulous queens in person during their only shopping centre appearance throughout the Sydney WorldPride festival.

But that's not all - Westfield Bondi Junction has a range of other activities on offer to keep the whole family entertained. Kids of all ages can enjoy a unique sensory experience designed to promote education, inclusivity, and diversity through play. They'll get to explore different sensory textures, including faux fur, glitter, and mirrors, in a fun and interactive way.

Families can also come together to create art by writing inspirational messages of support for the community and creating rainbow origami butterflies. These butterflies will adorn a costume dress designed by renowned designer and LGBTQIA+ community member, Rene Rivas, in a beautiful and powerful display of love and unity.

And with entertainment running from Thursday to Sunday throughout the activation period, families can embrace their inner child with DJs, face painting, a shimmer station, and even disco roller skaters and performers.
