Sweet As Dessert Festival

Our favourite sugar loading event is back for another year, with brownies, cheese, chocolate (so much chocolate, coffee, cupcakes, doughnuts, gelatos, ice-creams, macarons, marsh mallows, meringues, popsicles, sorbets, waffles and lots more from an awesome line-up of Queensland's best dessert makers. There will be options for most special dietary requirements including lactose free, gluten free, nut free and vegan desserts.

Oh, and there’s even savoury options if you’re that way inclined but really, what are you even doing here?

And as if that’s not enough, there will also be live music, pop-up bars, dessert cocktails, kids activities and cooking demonstrations.

And if you’re super hard-core, you may want to enter one of the eating competitions.

ellaslist opinion: Parking is a massive pain around here so do yourself a favour and catch a bus or a train. And BYO picnic blanket, keep cup, water bottle. Oh, and dogs are welcome, but don’t let them eat your chocolate!
