Top Fitness Classes For Mums In Brisbane South

  • Mums & Bubs

Having kids adds an extra layer of complication to working out that can be hard to navigate. Do you get up and work out before the children wake up? Do you wait until they’re in bed? Or do you give up altogether and eat Tim Tams on the couch? (Mmmmmm, Tim Tams…)

Luckily, there are plenty of fitness classes around these days that not only invite mums to attend, they encourage them – and they ensure kids are all part of the fun. So if you want to work out without having to use up all your babysitting favours, try one of these classes near you.

Miss Fit Baby Boot Camp (Coorparoo)

Miss Fitness runs a 6-week Baby Boot Camp to jump start your weight loss, strengthen your abs, increase your energy and improve your days. Each Baby Boot Camp training class offers a child-minding service and the best bit is you can see your babies while you’re training.

Every class is different, with an emphasis on fast-paced walking or jogging with the prams, abdominal re-strengthening to improve your core, body weight training and resistance training to regain strength and improve posture, circuits and boxing to increase cardiovascular endurance and flexibility training. They also sometimes incorporate the babies into the exercise drills too which is loads of fun.
