The Toyota Country Music Festival in Tamworth is Australia’s largest music festival and rated in the top 10 in the world. Yup, the world! It attracts a whopping 300,000 visitors per year across 10 days.
In addition to the vibrancy of the town’s iconic Peel Street that is lined with buskers and street performers – the Toyota Country Music Festival offers ten nights of free, family-friendly concerts in Tamworth’s biggest outdoor venue – Toyota Park.

Free Concerts
The festival will also host a dedicated family concert, perfect for kids who want to embrace the country music spirit. The ten nights of free concerts at Toyota Park sees the town come alive with the biggest line ups and the biggest variety of acts, all performed on the festival’s biggest stage. Tamworth Regional Playground
Tamworth’s Regional Playground promises boundless fun for children of all ages. The state-of-the-art playground boasts a skywalk, three giant slides, a bike track, four towers, a dual flying fox and a waterfall with a three-metre sway bridge. Adjoining this epicentre of fun is the town’s gorgeous Bicentennial Park, where there are ducks to be fed and lots of open space to play in!
Country Music Calvacade
The Toyota Country Music Cavalcade is a festival icon that brings vibrancy and uniquely-designed floats to the streets of Tamworth. It’s a loud, proud celebration of country music, and kids will love seeing all of the colourful designs. The spectacle attracts thousands of fans to the pavements, and kicks off on Saturday, 25 January 2020 at 9am.
