Queen Elizabeth Park Playground

What better way to greet a new season than with the official opening of a new playground?

Following a $730,000 investment in the Queen Elizabeth Park at Concord, the community has been eagerly awaiting the addition of accessible pathways and play equipment, a swing set with three bays, an adventure unit for older children, sand and water play, a cubby, a nature trail, sensory-based activities, and a learning circle outside.

Further, a fence has been built around the playground, and it has been shifted farther into the park to allow for play in the natural shade of the trees.

Just in time for those sunny summer days!
