The Rocks Glows Up for Vivid Sydney

Sydney's oldest precinct will come to life in a flurry of lights, music, food, markets, and roving entertainment to celebrate the illuminating Vivid Sydney 2022.

The Rocks Gets Vivid for VIVID 2023

Stay close to all the action of the iconic Vivid Festival plus enjoy a mini-festival at The Rocks from 26 May to 17 June 2023. Along with experiencing the mesmerising lights of the Museum of Contemporary Art and the waterfront Light Walk, The Rocks will host an impressive calendar of events across the Vivid Festival. 

Food festivals, markets, roving entertainment, sculptures, light shows, neon parties, movies under the stars and more will illuminate Sydney's iconic Rocks precinct.

Highlights of Vivid at The Rocks

The Rocks Markets will tantalise your tastebuds with pizza, gozleme, gelato, dumplings, crepes, BBQ and more on Fridays from 4 to 10 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 10 pm.

The festivities will be getting extra vivid at The VIVID Glow Party at Grain Bar with glowing face paint, beats from a neon DJ, custom Vivid cocktails and luminating bottles of Champagne from Moet Hennessy. From 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm every Friday and Saturday night during Vivid.

Dumpling lovers, get ready to tuck into succulent, mulit-coloured Vivid Dynasty Dumplings at Luna Lu from 12 pm to 10.30 pm Mondays to Sundays.

Live Music at The Rocks Square will keep the energy electric during the festival - pop down on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and don't forget your dancing shoes. 

Sydney’s most vibrant Tex-Mex restaurant, El Camino Cantina will be slinging their scrumptious Mexican fare every day of the whole Vivid festival!
