Possum Magic at Sydney Opera House

The beloved Australian picture book is back, live on stage! Sydney Opera House Presents a Monkey Baa Theatre Company production of Possum Magic.

Monkey Baa's award-winning creative team translates the whimsical world of Possum Magic into a live theatre experience for audiences aged 3 – 8 years (and their families). Using a clever combination of live theatre, stage magic, an original soundscape, puppetry, and projected animation, the enchanting tale comes to life 

It's Grandma Poss's favorite thing to make magic. She turns wombats blue and kookaburras pink. She makes dingoes smile and emus shrink. A snake threatens Hush one day, so Grandma uses her most powerful spell to make him invisible. Hush has a lot of wonderful adventures. Hush longs for the day she can see herself again after being invisible for so long.  

There is one problem. Grandma Poss can not find the spell to make Hush visible again. It was then that she realized.. this magic requires more, something special, something to do with food... people food. Join them as they travel around Australia to find what they need to help Hush!
