In the spirit of April Fools...

Dive into a world of laughs with the Marian Street Theatre for Young People Holiday Workshops and be immersed in an engaging drama experience with a comedic twist!

This April School Holidays, students will get the opportunity to craft an original comedy play. Throughout the workshop, they will collaborate with peers and learn from established teaching artists, culminating in a live performance at the end of the week.

Marian Street Theatre courses offer a comprehensive theatre education for budding performers to explore acting skills like characterisation, listening, and reacting. They will learn storytelling techniques such as story arc and story building; delve into stagecraft, collaboration, and ensemble building, and be guided on vocal techniques. They will also be introduced to stage physicality and movement, all while fostering confidence in a fun, safe environment.
