Take a short stroll around Circular Quay to discover 12 larger-than-life animal signs of the Lunar Zodiac, an amazing display as part of the City of Sydney's Chinese New Year Festival for 2018. 

A modern twist on tradition, this year Sydney welcomes 12 spectacular contemporary lanterns ranging in sizes up to 13 metres high to create the ultimate zodiac animal lantern experience at Circular Quay, from the Sydney Opera House to Overseas Passenger Terminal. Take a walk around the city and marvel at these mesmerising light sculptures.

The exhibition features new work by some of Australia's most exciting contemporary Asian Australian artists including new lanterns by Song Ling (Dog - Sydney Opera House), Kevin Bathman (Tiger – Wharf 6), Guan Wei (Dragon – Museum of Contemporary Art lawn) and John Deng (Pig - Cadman’s Cottage). To ring in the Year of the Dog, an additional pair of 3.8m dog lanterns by Fan Dongwang will be located in the heart of Chinatown.
