Blacktown City Festival 2024

This May, Blacktown is the place to be! The much-anticipated Blacktown City Festival is rolling out an epic lineup of events that you won't want to miss.

Thanks to the Blacktown City Council, the entire month is decked out with a mix of free and ticketed happenings showcasing everything from music and culture to sports and laughs.

Blacktown City Festival 2024

Kick things off at the opening weekend of the Blacktown City Festival with adrenaline-pumping Super 6 Blacktown City Youth Games at Blacktown International Sportspark on 5 May. Kids are invited to test their skills across six events and maybe even snag the title of Youth Games Champ.

Vibes by the Lake – Chill out or groove to live tunes at the ultimate picnic by the lake on Sunday 5 May at Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside. Entry is free!

Blacktown City Medieval Fayre – Step back in time with medieval jousting and a captivating Birds of Prey Show on 18 - 19 May. Don't miss this medieval spectacle at Nurragingy Reserve.

Sweet Indulgence Dessert Festival – Treat yourself to an evening of decadence with Sydney's finest desserts on Thursday 23 May at The Village Green. Free entry to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Streets Alive and Parade Day – Experience the buzz of Blacktown with a thrilling parade, street performers, free rides, and markets on Saturday 25 May in the Blacktown CBD. Free fun for everyone!

Reconciliation Walk and Gathering – Join in on 1 June at Dawson Mall for a meaningful day with stage performances and cultural workshops. It's a powerful way to connect and learn.

The full Blacktown City Festival program includes art exhibitions, historical bus tours, interactive experiences with Bluey, Bogan Bingo, comedy nights, and much more.
