Suitable for ages 2.5-5 years Bush School offers nature play in a safe, fun environment.

Bringing urban children and their parents back to nature in Centennial Park, this special weekly program is led by Centennial Parklands' expert Education Rangers.

Bush School for Kids 2.5 - 5 years

Bush School will get your kids moving, creating, and thinking in a stimulating outdoor environment every week, giving them a chance to explore, discover and learn at their own pace.

They will gain all the benefits of Nature Connection and Nature Play by developing their creativity, confidence, attention, and sense of responsibility.

During Bush School, children will learn and play in nature whilst exploring seasonal themes.

Buy a new five-week pass and get a 10% discount on our Bush School sessions! Five-week passes are available to book on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for just $157.50 (instead of $175). On Thursdays and Fridays, you also have the choice of booking a drop-in session for $35, or booking these days on a five-week pass. 

During Bush School, children will learn and play in nature whilst exploring a Autumn theme through:

• Hear the beautiful calls of the birds who visit us in Autumn and see where they feed.  
• Learn how turtles live and see if you can spot one in our pond!  
• As the weather cools, keep warm with us by making a safe fire to cook on and building your own survival shelter made of sticks.  

Bush School is an outdoor program and will take place in all-weather except for high winds and electrical storms. The Education rangers will set up a tarp village in case of wet weather, to allow your little one to continue nature play in the outdoors.

Special notes: Children must be accompanied by an adult. There will also be a dedicated snack break during each session, so please bring food for your child.

When:      9:30am - 11:30am
                 Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the school term.
