Italian Renaissance Alive 2024

One of the world's most significant cultural, artistic, economic, and political periods, the Renaissance, is about to be brought back to life in a glorious cacophany of colour and movement. 

Italian Renaissance Alive celebrates some of Europe (and the world's) most gifted artists and the masterpieces they created that continue to inspire all those who see them.

Italian Renaissance Alive 2024

One of the world's most influential artistic periods will be on display at the Gold Coast's Home of the Arts. HOTA will host some of the world's greatest artistic visionaries from 30 March to 4 August 2024 with the works of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Caravaggio, and others taking pride of place in Gallery 1.

Italian Renaissance Alive traverses the entire Renaissance period, from the 14th to 17th Centuries. It celebrates the exceptional artistic and cultural influences of the period, immersing audiences in culture, architecture, sculpture, and literature of this iconic movement. See some of your favourite masterpieces move before your eyes in this multi-sensory exhibition that's not to be missed.

Masterpieces from the Italian Renaissance include the Sistine Chapel, Mona Lisa, and Birth of Venus.
