Pilu at Freshwater  – This ultimate fine dining establishment always gets rave reviews so try it for yourself this New Year's Day between 12 pm-5 pm. Reservations are essential.

Fratelli Fresh will also be serving their Italiana lunch at Fratelli Fresh in Manly.

Shuk – These popular Israeli-inspired cafes have a mouth-watering menu, and delicious baked goods, including the best-ever jam doughnuts and amazing coffee. With locations in Bondi, Chatswood and Elizabeth Bay, it's perfect for a New Year's Day pick-me-up. 

All venues are usually open on New Year's Day in Sydney, but bookings are recommended.

The Grumpy Baker – With eight locations across Sydney in Vaucluse, Bellevue Hill, Coogee, Maroubra, Neutral Bay, Waverton, Castle Cove and Marrickville, you can get your coffee fix along with fresh loaves, pastries and pies, or dine-in for breakfast or lunch.
