2. The Langham Afternoon Tea

Almost too cute to eat at the Langham.

The Langham is a high tea institution, but their ‘Fantasy Afternoon Tea’ has been designed exclusively for children (12 years and under).

Enjoy the cutest selection of hand-made pastries, cakes, scones, finger sandwiches, fairy bread and more, plus a glass of juice and a hot chocolate. Their freshly baked scones are served with a twist - coming with cream, banana and Nutella spread. Yum!

3. Afternoon Tea at The Windsor

A classic choice at the Windsor.

Pinkies are definitely up at the Windsor, one of the original high tea destinations in Melbourne with over 140 years of afternoon tea service under their belts.

But there’s nothing stuffy about their Kids High Tea, serving mini chicken pot pies, pizza muffins, ham and cheese toastie fingers and on the sweet side: cupcakes, brownies, petite strawberry éclairs with freeze-dried strawberries and raspberry macarons.

Plus during the school holidays they roll out the chocolate fountain! From $35 per child.

The Sofitel is as sweet as can be.

On weekends you can head to No35 at the Sofitel for a High Tea in the sky and sweeping views across Melbourne’s City and Port Phillip Bay.

Their Afternoon High Tea is traditional, but they often have themed events -such as their famous Mary Poppins high tea.

5. Tea Room at the National Gallery of Victoria

Bring the wipes so you can get hands on at the NGV after your high tea.

Served in the Tea Room on level one, your Sparkling High Tea stand is bursting with macarons, éclairs, cakes and savouries, all handmade by a team of pastry chefs.

Little art lovers are most definitely welcome to enjoy the Kids High Tea serving up cute sandwiches, pastries, donuts and lamingtons. From $35 per child.
