Things to do on Saturday
We love introducing our little ones to the Disney Classics so this event is right up our alley! Event Cinemas at Burwood and Bondi Junction are showing Disney Animated Classics every weekend at 10:30 and 2pm. All tickets are just $8. This weekend's movie is Bambi. Don't forget the tissues!
Things to do on Sunday
Go to Walsh Bay today and catch one of the free Sydney Writers Festival events for kids.  There are a number of events from 11am to suit kids from 3 up. Renowned children's authors Andy Griffiths, Sophie Scott and Aleesah Darlison will be talking and reading from their latest books and there's a special Kids Corner running all day where kids can be creative and crafty with a Where's Wally theme. All events are free and bookings are not required.
Things to do on Monday
Parents/carers and children are invited to a FREE Storytime at Double Bay Library today at 10.30am. Storytime is an opportunity for preschool children aged 3 to 5 and their parents/carers to enjoy songs, rhymes, stories and a simple craft activity for your child. Snuggle up for a story afterwards!
Things to do on Tuesday
Get all messed up this morning with a trip to The Messy Spot in Maroubra. Let the kids go wild drawing and painting on the walls then leave without having to clear up after wards. Perfect! The Messy Spot is open for casual visits every Tuesday to Friday 9:30am – 2:00pm (last entry 12.30pm).  No need to book ahead, just rock up. Casual visits from $15.50. Things to do on Wednesday
Did you know that every Wednesday (at 11am and 1pm) you and your children can come on a journey with the Australian Museum’s Indigenous Performances to experience Aboriginal spirituality and culture. Expect didgeridoo, song and dance which combine to reveal the rich cultural knowledge handed down through countless generations of Indigenous Australians. Read our post here.

Join Mem Fox, Australia’s best loved picture book author, today at the Sydney Theatre Company at 9:30am as she takes us on a journey to a not-so-faraway land filled with fairies and pixies, goblins and ogres, where everyone sleeps while a child dreams.
