World’s Biggest Playgroup Day - A Free + Fun Community Event

Playgroup NSW will celebrate National Playgroup Week with its World’s Biggest Playgroup Day, a free community event full of live entertainment and activities at Australian National Maritime Museum, on Wednesday, 27 March.

The event includes free performances by top Australian children’s entertainers Lah Lah the Big Live band, The Beanies, Hey Duggee and Junkyard Beats. Kinderling Kids Radio will get the party started with a disco.

There will also be a variety of play and craft activities including a baby/toddler play area to playdough, sand and water fun. LEGO Australia, a major sponsor, will celebrate imaginative play at the DUPLO® Imagination Station. Plus, children will be able to hop onto a large DUPLO Train to get a great family snap.

Playgroup NSW leads in engaging families and communities in early childhood development. Programs and services centre around play and are universally beneficial for communities, carers and children from a range of backgrounds.

While World’s Biggest Playgroup Day is a free community event, pre-registration is available here for those who want to go into a draw to win prizes and to receive a program and map prior to the event.
