Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival 2018

Who said you have to go to Japan to be treated to the magic of cherry blossoms?

The award-winning Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival is back in August 2018 for nine days of family-friendly entertainment amongst the bountiful blossoms in Auburn Botanic Gardens - only in-bloom for two weeks every year. 

Weekends will feature the full festival line up, with everything from sumo matches at Stadium Sumo, to Hello Kitty makeovers and plenty Japanese fusion and traditional food samples in the massive food village - which mums and dads can wash down with premium plum wine, sakura flower sake or Japanese craft beer at the friendly Izakaya Bar. 

If you're looking for a mid-week adventure with your little one, the back by popular demand KIDS DAY returns to the festival on 22 August. There'll be FREE activities for toddlers and young children from 10am...look out for Hello Kitty, join a toddler Taiko (percussion) class, or stretch out with your bub at Baby Yoga.

Make sure to wander amongst the blossoms for a family spring selfie!
