Minifest Summer Holiday Program at The Joan

A summer holiday festival of music and film - just for kids (and their adults) at The Joan in Penrith!

What better way to start the year than with a fun festival just for Kids & Families. This is the perfect way to break up those long summer days and get everyone out of the house for some holiday fun!

Mini Fest begins in the mini-Music Lounge with singer/songwriter and mother of two, Angie Who. Loved by little people and grown-ups alike, Angie’s music is beautiful – full of melodies to escape into. It’s the sort of music that makes memories. A great way to kick off a fun family day.

Once you’ve soaked up some tunes it’ll be time to move into the Concert Hall for the very best of Little Big Shots – Australia’s best international film festival for kids, with a special guest compere to keep things rolling. All that entertainment will build your appetite, so after the screening we’ll be feeding hungry tummies – as part of the ticket price – before we head back to the Music Lounge for a special treat – Nay Nay, star of ABC Kids and creator of Tinkertime! Nay Nay’s songs ‘Bubble Pop’, ‘Smash It Down, ‘I Have A Voice’ and ‘My Brother Ate My LEGO’ are household favourites.

Where:   The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, 597 High Street, Penrith
When:    Tuesday, 23 January 2018; 11am-1.30pm
Cost:      Adults - $35; Kids - $30; Family - $100
