Floriade Festival Of Spring In Canberra 2019

Australia's biggest celebration of spring is back with a bang for Floriade 2019. From mid-September to mid-October, Canberra comes to life for 30 days of beautiful blooms, food stalls galore and a range of fun, family-friendly entertainment.

The festival boasts the blossoming of more than one million bulbs and annuals, all whilst celebrating this year's theme — Pop Culture. In its 32nd year, Floriade will celebrate with the theme World in Bloom.

The daytime event is perfect for attending with kids; it's free to enter and offers the chance to marvel at the intricate, horticultural displays while enjoying the rides, attractions and diverse range of family-friendly entertainment. Ideal for keeping the kids entertained throughout the school holidays, Floriade offers a free KidzKlub and an array of hands-on activities and workshops in the Kids Zone.

Wander through the illuminated wonderland of flowerbeds and Nautalis Forestat at the event's magical evening-time iteration, NightFest, also back for 4 nights in October.  

These ticketed events include entertainment from comedians, open air movie-watching, live music and lots more; showcasing the best that the nation's capital has to offer.

When:      The festival runs from 14 September – 13 October 2019, 9:30am – 5:30pm. 
Cost:        Free to enter during the day, NightFest tickets start from $13 for kids, $25 for adults.
