Family Fun Day at NSW State Library - 24 Nov

The State Library of NSW is holding a free family fun day on Sunday 24 November from 10am - 3pm.  Come along and enjoy a full day of activities, talks and tours for the whole family.

Don’t miss workshops with celebrated children’s authors/illustrators Leigh Hobbs and Liz Anelli and visit the beautiful new Children’s Library. There will be adventure tours in the fabulous exhibitions, creative activities in the John B Fairfax Learning Centre and a special story time for under 5’s. The theme is exploring Australia so head along to meet unique animals, navigate your way through the landscape and enjoy a full day of fun at the Library.

10.30am – 11.00am    Exhibition Adventure Tour
11.00am – 11.45am    Children’s author Leigh Hobbs

12.30pm – 1.00pm      Look and listen – stories for under 5’s
12.30pm – 1.00pm      Art Adventures with Andrea (suitable for school aged children)
1.15pm – 2.00pm        Children’s author Liz Anelli’s Map Making Workshop
2.00pm – 2.30pm        Exhibition Adventure Tour
2.30pm – 3.00pm        Art Adventures with Andrea (suitable for school aged children)
