Bronte Seaside Scavenge

Seaside Scavenge is heading over Bronte-wards with their trash for treasure market as part of Waverley Councils Summerama!

If you haven't scavenged before, here's how it works: for every 10 pieces of litter you collect you can earn yourself a Trash Token to spend on some pre-loved goodies at the market.

This is in a bid to change the fact that a whopping 6000kg of textiles end up in landfill in Australia every 10 minutes. Plus, not only will you be buying second-hand and reducing landfill but you’ll be cleaning up beautiful Bronte beach and helping reduce the amount of plastic floating out to sea. Double win!

The perfect opportunity to engage the whole family in caring for the environment, these scavenges are a great way of educating kids in the importance of recycling, picking up trash and reusing pre-loved goods.
