A Messina Delivery Speedboat Is Coming To 9 Sydney Beaches For 2 Days Only

Move over old school ice cream van, there's a new way to get your frozen dessert fix - via a Deliveroo-powered speedboat.

Over Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December, the Deliveroo X Messina Gelato speedboat will be zooming between nine beaches so that as many Sydneysiders as possible can get their hands on a FREE fancy ice cream - we're talking Strawberry Pavlova Choc Tops and the Weissina, a Peach Bellini Ice Cream Bar. 

The eastern suburb beaches (Double Bay, Rose Bay, Nielsen Park, Milk Beach and Watsons Bay, in that order) are to be treated to this one-off delivery service on the Saturday, before it hits up Manly Wharf, Clontarf Beach, Spit Marina and Balmoral (in that order) on the Sunday. 

Depending on the beach, orders will be delivered via the wharf, or in some cases, you'll be holding onto your bathers and wading in! #willwadeformessina  

Where:    Double Bay, Rose Bay, Nielsen Park, Milk Beach, Watsons Bay on Saturday; Manly Wharf, Clontarf Beach, Spit Marina and Balmoral Beach on Sunday (in that order)
When:     Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December, 11.30am - 5pm (the speedboat is rumoured to be stopping over at each beach for 30 to 40 minutes, so time your day accordingly)
Cost:       FREE (but don't get greedy...maximum one ice cream/person)
