Baby Sensory: Baby Development Classes (0-13m) & Birthday Parties

Babies learn more in the first year of life than at any other time. In fact, a baby’s brain doubles in weight between birth and one year of age! Amazing!

Never again will there be such an extraordinary pace of development. Babies are driven to learn about their world and are totally attentive and absolutely fascinated by everything that they can see, hear, touch, taste and smell.

Baby Sensory provides hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year.

The Baby Sensory programme consists of over 40 themed lesson plans, so every week you will share new sensory experiences with your baby including fibre optic light shows, bubbles, bells, musical fun, baby signing, puppet shows, amazing light balls and so much more.

Our multi-award-winning Baby Sensory programme has been designed specifically for babies from birth based on current research into babies’ development. Each activity is supported by the provision of developmental information, so that parents can discover how to lead their baby’s learning forwards, both within the class and at home.

Each class includes a variety of different baby development activities plus a discovery playtime, during which your baby can enjoy our exploratory play area whilst you can meet other parents and make new friends.

Baby Sensory classes are running at various locations across Sydney.

**Baby Sensory is proud to have been voted the ‘Best National Baby and Toddler Activity (0-2 years) in the 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 What’s On 4 Junior Australia Awards.**

I love attending Baby Sensory classes with my little man! They have made me so much more aware of all the seemingly mundane, everyday things in the world around us that are simply wonderful sensory delights for my baby! The classes have helped me to think much more about what my baby sees, hears, touches and even tastes - and hopefully his little world has become a richer place as a result. The classes are a lot of fun for Mums, as well as bubs, with a great balance between 'guided' sensory activities and free, exploratory play. I encourage you to give a class a try :)

I've been taking my daughter since she was three months old. Now signed up for our second term and we absolutely love our time at baby sensory. My daughter plays so well from learning ay the class, she loves to interact with the other babies and mummies and is just generally always blown away by the explosion of things she gets to see/touch/hear at class. Gave me lots of ideas for playing with baby at home too. We will be at baby sensory for as long as we can!

Baby Sensory was the best baby class I took. My son loved the activities and free time with all the amazing toys and I learnt lots of great ideas for play and development at home. I also met a lovely group of mums there and being new to Sydney that was a lifesaver. Gemma is warm and welcoming and the bubs just love her!

I have attended Gemma's classes for two terms in Warriewood and fully enjoy them. The "Say hello to the Sun" sing and sign song that Gemma plays at the beginning of every session captures every babies attention in the room! Each week Gemma has a new theme, our favourites were "Baby Splash and Messy Play"

We have attended this class for the first time this term with our daughter who is 3 months. The activities are brilliant, especially the fibre optic lights which my baby loves. There are also lots of instruments, great music and so many props, like puppets, parachutes, sensory play materials. Definitely to be recommended if you have a baby up to age 1

We love going to baby sensory. The formula really works with a combination of free play time/mummy chats, and short bursts of different activities for the bubs. Gemma is always relaxed and upbeat, and really knows her stuff too e.g. baby signing. We are always excited to see what we're going to find at next weeks class.
