This August, Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is celebrating its 21st birthday and they’re inviting all Victorians to help them celebrate. To mark the occasion, MSAC is hosting a public open day on Saturday 25 August, where attendees can try out the centre’s many and varied sporting and recreational facilities for free. Non-members who attend the celebrations will also receive a free 21-day pass to use beyond the open day.

There will be lots of family fun to have, with jumping castles, face painting, waterslides, games and more. Because it’s not a birthday party without gifts, there will also be lots of fun prizes and giveaways.

Free classes will run all day; attendees will need to register their interest online before the day.

MSAC has enlisted high profile sports stars to join in the festivities, including Australian freestyle swimmer and Olympic gold medallist Mack Horton and former Australian netballer and The Block 2018 contestant Bianca Chatfield. Mack and Bianca will be hosting free coaching clinics on the day, with dedicated sessions for children. Attendees will have to register on the MSAC website prior to the event.
