Escape Technology And Visit This Off-The-Grid Kangaroo Valley Cabin For Your Next Getaway

As we learn more and more about the detrimental impact of screen time, technology and social media on our everyday lives, it’s becoming increasingly common to book in a digital detox; where you leave the screens at home and enjoy some off-the-grid downtime and disconnect from the craziness.

CABN was started in order to provide people with a means to get away from their phones and reconnect with nature, and themselves. Their completely off-grid, sustainable and eco-friendly tiny houses set in some of Australia’s most stunning and stimulating landscapes offer an ideal escape from the online world. With an ethos of “minimal interruption for maximum interaction”, CABN offer you the opportunity to indulge in the people you’re with—and yes, there’s a lockbox for those that are terminally attached to their devices.

The Location

Situated on a 140-acre property on the very edge of the Cambewarra Ranges, this idyllic property is just a two-hour drive south of Sydney, making it the ideal distance for a weekend escape.

Surrounded by tall, dense bushland and tucked away in a forest clearing, Arabella is set amongst abundant wildlife and picture-perfect natural surrounds. There are numerous vantage points within walking distance to view the valley below, making it the perfect pick for a true, back-to-basics retreat without the distraction of Instagram and email.

The Cabin

Arabella sleeps four to five people and features a fully-operational kitchen and outdoor gas barbecue. It includes a combustion heater inside for the chilly evenings plus an outdoor fire pit that’s ideal for toasting marshmallows using surrounded twigs. An air conditioner makes warm summer nights comfortable, while the outdoor bathtub is enclosed in its very own glass cube to help you connect with the natural surroundings. Safe to say, it looks stunning.

Children and dogs are welcome, but we say this is the perfect option for your next romantic escape.

The Cost

Low Season rates are $289 per night from Monday to Thursday and $325 per night for Weekends. High season rates $399 per night for NSW Public Holidays and School Holidays.
