Held right next door to New Farm Park, you can do some shopping and grab a great coffee while the children play to their heart's content. Everyone is a winner! Bonus points if you head back to the Powerhouse for lunch by the river.

The Eat Street Markets started over seven years ago and were such a massive hit they had to redevelop the venue to be able to take the Brisbane crowds! Now, the Eat Street Markets is a massive riverside centre of family, food and fun.

Heaving with great live music, street performers, fun culinary treats from all over the world and stalls full of wonder - all running out of colourful shipping containers! - if you don't mind a crowd, there's loads of fun to be had at Eat Street Markets.

Make sure you take $3 in cash for entry per person; kids 12 and under are FREE.

Located in an industrial estate in Albion, The Black Market is one of the most frequented Saturday markets for good reason. The open-air farmers' market showcases the best of the best fresh local produce, incredible baked goods, artisan coffee, beautiful blooms and loads more for visiting families.

Tip: The Black Market also hosts the most delicious food trucks on Friday nights from 5 pm.
