Brisbane❜s Best Hotel Pools Where You Can Swim Without Checking In

  • Parents Only

There is no denying that Brisbane temperatures are similar to temps on the surface of the sun. It’s hot. And the only difference between summer and winter is that you may actually be able to sleep in winter because you get a break from the heat.

So where do you go for a little getaway and to cool down if you don’t have a pool at home? We've got you covered, here is a list of gorgeous hotel pools you can access, even if you aren’t a guest.

Hilton Hotel, Brisbane

Located smack bang in the heart of town, the Hilton lives up to it’s long standing reputation as a world class hotel.

Take a lift up to the eighth floor, get your swimmers on, and soak up the view. There’s something surreal about doing laps at a great height with the city skyline in front of you.

The open-air pool is heated and opens all year round. Stick around and enjoy a drink or a feed in the pool terrace.

Soleil Pool Bar, Rydges South Bank

What we love the most about this place is it’s diversity. You can come here for a dip in the pool, a romantic night out, a lunch meeting, a Sunday session, or a long lunch.

Whatever the occasion, you will love everything about this venue. Located in Rydges South Bank, the pool is luscious and exactly what you need to cool down. The food here is absolutely tremendous and the cocktails are arguably the best in the city.

Whether you visit during the day, of an evening, or hit it just at twilight, the open air terrace offers a relaxed atmosphere, helped along by friendly staff.

For a knock out experience, treat yourself to a Garden Tea. A Queensland take on High Tea offering salt and pepper squid, sliders and so much tasty goodness.

Next Hotel Brisbane

Nestled in the heart of the city, Next Hotel makes the most of its location. The huge terrace boasts a spectacular vista of the Brisbane skyline.

The real star is the 20 metre, infinity edge pool, showing off in its sparkling glory. The atmosphere is laid back, trendy and sophisticated.

Enjoy a glorious dining experience or a few cheeky drinks poolside. Nothing beats a swim with a side of cocktails on a scorching day.

Limes Hotel Fortitude Valley

I may have saved the best for last. Whilst it may not be a pool, Limes Hotel rooftop bar has two hot tubs, perfect for socialising with old friends or making new friends.

They offer bar snacks that are simple yet tasty. The cocktail list is full of creative inventions to cool you down on a hot summer’s day.

What I love the most is the pop up, open air cinema. Showing ex box office hits or popular TV shows. The vibe is fun and social. If your night goes into the wee hours, the hotel offers discount rates after midnight. Cheaper than a taxi!
