Owner and lead photographer Shannon Smith has a technical background in photography and has studied formally, also training in London and Sydney before opening her own studio.

Our first 6 weeks with our newborn baby boy have been so very special. A time in our lives that we want to etch in full detail across our minds forever. The memories will always be with us, but the truly stunning photos that Shannon at Iris Photography took for us, will always be the most wonderful mementos of this new adventure and our beautiful baby boy.
Shannon was amazing with little Harrison and obviously relaxed him completely. She knows all the tricks to get a newborn looking gorgeous on camera and we had a lovely hour or so capturing some wonderful moments. We are thrilled with the outcome. The photographs are stunning and absolutely perfect. Thanks Shannon! You are a very talented photographer who I would recommend to anyone!

We had Shannon, from Iris Photography, take photos of my family in Centennial Park and she chose the perfect location. Throughout the shoot, Shannon was incredibly friendly, professional and made the time we had with her very relaxed.
Our time with Shannon was fun and we couldnt wait to receive the photos, and once we did we were blown away with how fabulous each one looked! Shannon took the time to go through each photo to make it look the best it possibly could. We would most certianly use Iris Photography again…
