We are based in the eastern suburbs and inner west, but VitalSelf is unique in that we will come to you at your favourite park, at your home, at your office or any other convenient location at a time that’s best for you.

Pre-natal fitness: it is safe to train when you are pregnant!  Maintaining your cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength better prepares you for birth.  A healthy body also makes for a healthy and alert baby, and results in a healthy body after birth.  With a special interest in pre and post natal exercise, VitalSelf will adjust your fitness programme as your body changes through and beyond your pregnancy.

Mums & Bubs Fitness Classes: join a VitalSelf organised group or get your Mother’s Group together for some fun & fitness with your baby. VitalSelf will gradually re-build your fitness, being mindful of the changes to your body due to pregnancy and childbirth.

General Training: for mums who prefer to train without their bubs, VitalSelf offers a range of fitness options. We cater for all fitness levels, and ensure you have structure and variety in your training so you continue to perform at your best.

VitalSelf personal trainers are fully qualified, have their First Aid Certificate, are insured and registered with Fitness Australia, and have a passion for fitness.

Mums & Bubs Fitness Classes: Come and join a VitalSelf organised group fitness session in Centennial Park or at Rozelle for some fun & fitness with your baby. Alternatively get your Mother’s Group together at a time convenient to you. You could also do a personal training session combined with a group session. VitalSelf will check for abdominal separation, and then gradually re-build your core strength and cardiovascular fitness, being mindful of the changes to your body due to pregnancy and childbirth.

    Mums and Bubs Fitness

    I found the mums and bubs sessions an excellent way to re-start my exercise routine after my first baby. The flexibility to choose which weekly sessions I attended was really helpful and the outdoor location was great. I felt very comfortable with the group size and ended up making some very good friends. Sue was always very good at tailoring exercises to people’s particular needs while still keeping the flow of the session. I highly recommend this group as a fantastic way to exercise in a lovely location with your bub close by.

    Mums and Bubs Fitness with Vitalself

    It’s so nice to get out in the park and get fit again. Having my baby looked after by a nanny is fantastic – it let’s me get on with my fitness. It’s good that Sue doesn’t include too much running in our sessions – she realises we can all do that ourselves. I’ve really noticed the increase in strength in my upper body as well as my legs. And I can feel my waist again too! Sue keeps an eye on us to make sure we’re doing everything properly which is great. I hate having to miss a session – they’re great.

    Mums and Bubs Fitness with VitalSelf Fitness

    I’ve been training with Sue for about 2 years now. I feel fabulous after every session, and it’s so good for my core strength – my back is much stronger too. Sue varies the sessions, and somehow manages to remember who has what health issues and then comes up with options for all the various muscle aches and pains we have – amazing. And she’s really careful with our technique too so I feel safe. I hate it when I can’t get to Sue’s sessions. Amy, Bondi

    Mums and Bubs with VitalSelf Fitness

    I have been going to Mums & Bubs sessions with VitalSelf since my son was 6 weeks old. Sue has carefully increased my core strength – it is really noticeable. I have also rebuilt my overall strength and cardiovascular strength too, and can now get back into my pre-natal clothes! Sue encourages us (in a nice way!) to work hard and is always mindful of our technique. The variety in the sessions is great so we don’t all get bored. (I’m now pregnant again, and Sue is now helping me to keep fit during my pregnancy). Claire of Clovelly
