The Underwater Bondi Experience is a world-first combination of real fish in aquaria and audio-visual experiences that takes visitors on a 2,000m dive tour of the amazing marine life in Bondi Bay – all in 30 minutes and without getting wet!

It’s a very small, modest, not for profit operation, the whole thing is about the size of your lounge, but with 4 great little rooms to explore: the introduction film room opening to the replicated underwater room with rocks and fish tanks, then through the curtain to the little cinema room showing a reel of Bondi aquatic life in action then exit through a tunnel that demonstrates the damage that our rubbish has on our oceans. It maybe small but the kids really do seem to like it, and with annual memberships from only $20 it’s fantastic value, always gives you something to do locally especially on a rainy afternoon and it’s a great way to start teaching children to have respect for the ocean and the life within it. Check website for upcoming rockpool tours and other local excursions.

Admission prices: $10 for adults. $5 for children (3-15yrs). Discounts available for residents of Waverley and Randwick Councils. Really worth getting the Annual Membership: Individual  $20, Junior $10, Concession $15,

Price of marine centre at bondi

Hi, went today, mr nearly 3 enjoyed it, it is pretty small. Wasn’t 50% off for locals is actually 10% off so I paid $9 and my son was free.
