The Royal Botanic Gardens run School Holiday Activities designed for children 6-12 years each holiday term. Here’s what’s on in Autumn:
Garden Safari – an adventure in art and nature: Families can go on a self-guided safari to discover the colours, shapes and textures of plants in the Royal Botanic Garden. Use the Safari Map to locate eight fun activity stops throughout the garden, with fun things to do including weaving a giant birds nest, raking a zen garden, and making magical sun-prints. The Safari Kit contains a map and all the art and craft materials you need.
When: Every day until 31 May, 10 am until 4 pm
Where: Buy a kit at the Garden Shop to begin your safari
Cost: $5 per child
